Low impact yoga class targeting tension in the body for stress relief. Gentle guided meditations throughout focus attention inward aligning mind, body, and spirit in order to reconnect with self. Gain introspection, clarity, and peace as we tune out modern day distractions and let go of who were expected to be. Come as you are.
Kathleen teaches Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga (200 hour RYT). She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2014 and went on to get her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2018. She has been working as an Occupational Therapist for four years and currently works at a nursing home where she incorporates yoga into the therapy groups. Kathleen went to Guatemala in 2016 for an immersive 200 hour YTT through Kula Collective.
She has facilitated "Yoga in the Park" classes during the summer/fall months where she provided free weekly classes in order to give back to the community and make yoga accessible to all in the Greater Springfield area of MA. Kathleen has instructed weekly holistic yoga classes in a variety of settings including CrossFit gyms, fitness studios, office settings, kid camps, and of course outdoors in the park. She enjoys teaching classes that are playful, incorporate philosophy and introspection, focus on breathwork, meditation, and allow for a deep satisfying savasana.
