Cacao & Shamanic Journey with Amy Schenck.
Amy will guide everyone to drink a cup of organic ceremonial grade cacao together. Cacao is a healing plant medicine. It is the main ingredient in chocolate, yet so much more. It was given to us during creation to active our connection to divine intelligence and the cosmos. She is often referred to as “Mama Cacao” because she is a feminine and loving fruit. Cacao is a wise messenger and heart healer. It is prepared as a healthy and uplifting warm drink. Cacao allows you to feel calm, euphoric, alert, blissful, grounded, safe, loved and loving.
Held by the love of cacao, you will be guided on a shamanic journey. In a state of deep meditation, you will access the invisible worlds beyond ordinary reality to retrieve important messages from your intuition. You will be able to safely release deep blocks, cut cords and fill yourself up with healing light and peace.
We will close with a community circle for integration.
How to prepare:
Please eat light and drink lots of water during the day. Dress comfortably in layers. Please bring a yoga mat/pillow/blanket, journal & pen and water. If you feel called, you are invited to bring items from nature to support you on this journey. These can be rocks, crystals, feathers, flowers or anything that resonates with you.
Please note:
A full ceremonial dose of cacao may not be for everybody. Most people can drink cacao. However, if you are pregnant, allergic to chocolate/cacao, have a serious heart condition or have an ulcer we recommend you do not drink a cacao.
Amy Schenck is a Board – Certified Holistic Nurse from the American Holistic Nurses Association. She has worked closely with Reiki and ceremonial cacao in her own journey of remembering her divine essence and has felt called to share this medicine with others. Amy combines meditation, breath work and other holistic modalities into her classes & sessions. She believes in the power of healing in community. Amy currently works in a hospital as an integrative therapy nurse providing holistic therapies to patients and staff.
